致理 改制為科技大學

「致知明理、誠信精勤！」民國54年創校的致理商專歷經改制後的致理技術學院，在今年8月通過教育部核准，正式改名為致理科技大學，晉身為「兼具在地思維與全球視野」、「重視終身學習與全人教育」、「培育產業與國家發展所需人才」及「發展多元精緻與永續經營」之科技大學，培育學生成為擁有創新、統整與跨領域的商業專業人才，朝向立足台灣、放眼全球的一流大學目標邁進。
致理科大董事長梁聖時期勉改名為科技大學後，積極推動國際化，持續發展各系特色，調整系所，強化師資，深化產學合作與實習，提升校園文藝氣息，迎向未來環境衝擊的挑戰博客來網路書局。
致理科大校長尚世昌指出，在少子化的趨勢下，全體致理人要再接再厲，將致理再建設成為小而美、小而好的優質學校。秉持傳統與創新兼備、教學理論與實務並重的治校理念，致理科大創校以來，配合政府技職教育政策，培育卓越商務專業人才，在師資素質、校舍規模、產學研究、制度規章等各項教學籌畫與建設的軟、硬體規畫下，教學品質深受社會各界與家長的肯定及支持，建校至今，畢業校友高達7萬餘人，就業領域跨足海內外各知名企業。
致理科大100學年度在教育部技專校院評鑑行政類及所有系所囊括全數「一等」的佳績，也多次在遠見、天下雜誌進行的「企業最愛大學」調查中，獲得私立技專院校第一名之榮耀。值得一提的是，近期揭曉的德國紅點（Red Dot）設計獎，該校共有4組獲得獎項，其中3組更榮獲優選，這些績效幫助該校寫下近5年來首次申請即通過為科技大學的新記錄。
配合國家產業政策及地區產業發展的需要，改名後的致理科大將成立商務管理學院、商貿外語學院及創新設計學院等3個學院，加速成為具有國際視野的優質學府。
